What is HDI Audit Platform?
HDI Audit Platform is a focused audit product built around one question every scaling operation eventually faces: how much of this company runs on specific people rather than on systems? We measure that dependency — the Human Dependency Indicator — and turn it into a prioritised, evidence-based automation roadmap. One methodology, two phases: a free 10-minute screening that locates the dependency, and a full audit that explains it and prices the fix.
Where does it come from?
The methodology was developed from operational practice in regulated life sciences — cell & gene therapy, ATMP manufacturing, conventional pharma — environments where "only Maria can release the batch" is not a joke but a compliance finding in waiting. Years of building training systems, quality processes and operational documentation in these settings produced a repeatable observation: the real constraint on scaling was rarely technology, and almost always the quiet concentration of coordination, control and knowledge in a handful of people. HDI is that observation turned into an instrument: behavioural questions, calibrated anchors, industry weighting, and a scoring engine that treats the client's own answers with due scepticism (that is what the confidence score and the perception gap are for).
Who is behind it?
HDI is built and operated by a team with more than fifteen years of combined operational experience in pharma and life sciences — including cell & gene therapy — earned inside some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. The audit practice is led personally by the founders, not delegated; the methodology, instrument and benchmarks are proprietary.
What do we believe?
- Behaviour over self-image. We never ask "how automated are you?" — we ask what happens when the key person is away.
- Hours before money. The free result reports the leak in hours and FTE; money enters only on assumptions agreed with you.
- Diagnosis before prescription. No recommendations from a questionnaire; recommendations come from the audit, where your own team's evidence backs every finding.
- The fix is systemic, never personal. A high score is not an accusation against your best people — it is proof of how much has been resting on them.
